Six months ago, NHS North East London Health and Care Partnership opened St George’s Health and Wellbeing Hub in Hornchurch. From the outset, health leaders considered the arts as integral to St George’s model of high-quality, joined up care.

St George’s Partnership Board invited Rebecca to devise a Creative Health Strategy, which will be launched next month. In drawing up the strategy, Rebecca spoke to St George’s stakeholders and representatives of the wider health, local authority, cultural and creative communities of Havering as well as national organisations working to advance creative health.

Development of the strategy was funded by Arts Council England and administered by London Arts and Health.

Today, to coincide with Creativity and Wellbeing Week, a case study has been published, outlining how St George’s Creative Health Strategy was developed and offering glimpses of its content.
